Most of the secondary antibodies offered by BioCat are affinity purified to provide the best signal to noise and detection sensitivity. Affinity purification not only selects for the most specific binding antibodies, but it also removes unwanted pre-immune immunoglobins and serum proteins that tend to result in high background noise or non-specific assay results.

A series of different labels are offered for each antibody type so that primary antibodies can be detected in wide variety of assays.
