Surface Chemistries

OpenSPR sensors are available in a variety of functional surface chemistries to reduce the time and effort needed for immobilization, while ensuring high repeatability. Nonfunctionalized gold sensors are also available for custom surface functionalization.

High Sensitivity Sensors

The Open SPR High Sensitivity Sensors provide increased sensitivity for your toughest SPR applications. The increased localized sensitivity is particularly advantageous for small molecule analysis, and can also be used to enhance the signals of other larger biomolecules. OpenSPR High Sensitivity Sensors are available in a variety of functional surface chemistries to reduce the time and effort needed for immobilization, while ensuring high repeatability. 

Carboxyl High Capacity Sensor

Nicoya's High Capacity sensors can improve the kinetics analysis for a wide range of applications. They have shown to have a significantly higher ligand capacity and to reduce non-specific binding, therefore enhancing your overall data quality.

Nicoya offers 3 varieties of Carboxyl Sensors to choose from: Standard, High Capacity and High Sensitivity. Each sensor type has different properties that are tuned for different biomolecule properties and analysis applications. The table below summarizes common sample properties and application spaces generally recommended for each sample type.
