Aiming to facilitate gene cloning and protein production procedures, Codex DNA’s portfolio includes Gibson Assembly reagents and Vmax X2 cells — a Vibrio natriegens-derived next-generation bacterial expression system. The Gibson Assembly method, created by Daniel G. Gibson, co-founder of Codex DNA, is the gold standard molecular cloning method and allows for the joining of multiple DNA fragments to build genes and genomes in a single, isothermal reaction.
