BioCat's partner Innoprot is a Spanish biotechnology company established in 2007 as a spin-off from the University of the Basque Country. Innoprot offers a wide range of primary cells and stable cell lines fully validated for high-throughput as well as high-content screening. The stable cell lines developed by Innoprot are designed for drug discovery targeting mainly G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), nuclear hormone receptors, ion channels and enzymes implicated in neurodegenerative diseases.

The proprietary drug discovery technology platform for multiplexing GPCR screening campaigns, Nomad Biosensors, uses different fluorescent biosensors and allows the in vitro measurement of different GPCR activation pathways in one single assay.
