?3 nAChR Stable Expressing HEK293 Cell Line
|Cell Category:||Drug Discovery Cell Lines|
|Tissue of Origin:||Kidney|
|Marker:||pBudCE4.1 vector, zeocin resistance|
It has been shown that neurons in constant exposure to nicotine will experience an up-regulation in nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) expression. To generate this stable cell line, nAChR was first transfected into the HEK293 cells, followed by the introduction of the rabbit polyclonal antibody α3 via the pBUD vector. These stable cells were selected for in zeocin-containing complete media.
