With the X-CLARITY, Logos Biosystems took their imaging expertise in a different direction: volumetric imaging. X-CLARITY is based on CLARITY (Clear Lipid-exchanged Acrylamide-hybridized Rigid Imaging / Immunostaining /in situ-hybridization-compatible Tissue hYdrogel), a tissue clearing method that renders tissues optically transparent while preserving tissue structure and content for volumetric imaging.
